Disability in Culture: Horror Cinema ("Freaks" Screening)
Description

Join the ODA for Disability in Culture: Horror Cinema. We will be screening Freaks, a 1932 film by Tod Browning, depicting a relationship between Hans, a sideshow performer, and Cleopatra, a trapeze artist. The screening will be followed by a faculty-led discussion on the representations of disability, sexuality, and the true ‘monsters’ in the film.
